A Grim Project Continues

So a few weeks has passed, I had surgery on my right arm to remove some unnecessary screws from a childhood accident. So I've shelved this project up until this past weekend. I was able to get in a lot of sculpt time now that I have fresh clay.

After knocking down the over exaggerated features I rounded the top and began on the detail.

Added the "zygomatic" curve as I've discovered by looking up it's correct anatomical name.
Picture
Copied the shape from one side to the other with a handy dandy paper towel template! I've also discovered my favorite tool for this entire sculpt has been a 3" section of metal plumbers tape.

Smoothing lots of bloody smoothing.

I'll add the pointed details last.

Almost done! Here I've finished his teeth and given the whole thing a wipe down with naptha and then blowtorch to smooth out any texture. The blowtorch also hardens the top surface just a bit which makes working with it easier. And handling.

I'll be adding the last arrow details soon, the silicone for this project is in the mail. Monday I'll slap some rubber on this puppy!
